General

Publish

The event will be hidden from users when publishing is disabled. If part of a tour, you can unpublish a specific event should you need to.

Group Size

This will be the number of players per group when automatically creating the groups. You can manually adjust this after the groups have been created.

Scoring

For events, we offer several scoring methods. The Verifier is a very good option for weekly leagues and organized play, while Group Scoring and Signature is the perfect solution for sanctioned play.

The Verifier

When enabled, the Verifier requires one player to keep score and another to verify the score. This strikes a great balance between scoring overhead and scoring integrity. Players can swap scorekeeper and verifier at any time during the round. This, together with The Signature, is our most popular option for organized but unsanctioned play.

The Signature

To submit the scorecard at the end of the round, players need to enter their PIN code. This is a great way to ensure that the score is submitted and confirmed by the correct player. Players can add a PIN if they don't have one. This ensures that players have confirmed their score before submitting it. The PIN code will be locked if there are too many attempts. Event players who don't use digital scorecards can sign their score after verifying it on a cardmate's device. If a player is unable to sign, the TD can sign the score for them in the manager.

Group Scoring

Group scoring is required for PDGA sanctioned play. Each player in the group will keep their own scorecard for all players in the group. One player will be marked as "Live scorer" and this user's scorecard will be used for the live scoring. Any player can take over this responsibility at any point in time. At the end of the round, all scores will be compared to the live scores and any discrepancies will be highlighted. Players cannot sign their scorecard if they have a discrepancy.

Custom Agreement

You can upload a custom agreement for players to confirm and agree to when registering for the event. This can be a liability waiver or other information.

Round Duration

By default, a started round will be closed 24 hours after it has been started. We recommend this setting to be on so that rounds close should you forget to close it. But if you have a reason to keep the round open longer, you can disable this setting.

Delete Event

You can delete an event up until the point of starting a round. Once a round has been started, you will not be able to delete the event. If you need to hide the event from users, you can unpublish it instead.
