Getting started

It's easy to keep score with Tjing during a round. You can keep it straightforward with just scores, dip your toes in with basic stats, or dive deep with throw-by-throw tracking - whatever suits your style!

Create a scorecard and start scoring

Getting started is simple. After opening the Tjing app, just tap the "Create scorecard" button at the bottom of your screen. You'll see courses near you if you've allowed location services. Want to play a custom course? No problem - you can add one in seconds. Just tap on the course you want to play and select your preferred layout.

Submit course

Playing at a course that's not listed? When creating a custom course, you can choose to submit it to our directory. Once approved, it'll be available for everyone to find and play!

Next, add your card mates. Search for them by name or email, or scan their QR code if they're right there with you. Don't worry if your friends haven't joined Tjing yet - you can add them as guests by simply typing their names.

Guest players

While guests can join your round, they won't have access to stats or be able to edit the scorecard. Maybe this is a good time to invite them to join Tjing!

Want to mix things up? You can choose to play Match Play or set up Doubles and Team formats before starting your round.

Once you hit "Create scorecard," you're ready to go! To add scores, just tap the area for the player and hole you want to score. The scoring keyboard will pop up, letting you enter the score and any stats you want to track.

Keep scoring as you play, and when you're done, simply close the scorecard to return to your feed. From there, you can share your round, check out your stats, or see how the whole group played.
