Clubs

Clubs are the heart and soul of disc golf, and Tjing is here to help you manage your club. Tjing's club pages help you present your club to the public and manage your members. You can easily add news, events, information about your club and more. Together with TjingPay collecting membership fees is a breeze.

Getting started

Anyone can create a club in Tjing. Head over to the clubs page and click on "Create club". A club name needs to be unique and you need to add a city you are active within and off you go.

Home

The home page is the main page for your club. Here you can add sections to present your club to the public. You can add as many sections as you want and you can mark them as public or for members only. In addition you can add a cover image and a logo to present your club in the best way possible.

Courses

If you have a home course or are involved with multiple courses you can add them to your club page. This will give the users a quick overview of the courses you are involved with.

Association

If you are part of an association you can add it to your club page.

Officials

You can easily add officials and add custom contact details to them making it easy for anyone to erach out in the appropriate channels.

Contact

If you don't have any officials you can add a contact section to your club page. This will give the users a way to contact you without having to contact a specific person.

Posts

The posts section is a great way to keep your members updated on what is happening in your club. Simply add a title and the content you want to share. You can add several images, perfect for posting pictures from your latest event. You may also list the post for members only or public.

Members

The members page have some different functionality depending on if you are an admin, member or just visiting as a regular user. The members page can be set to public or for members only and as an administrator you can also manage the members from here. You also have some options for exporting member information to an Excel file or copy the members emails to your clipboard for easy pasting to your email client.

As an administrator you can also view expired and active members, extend memberships, remove members and change the membership tiers.

Events

Events that are connected to your club will be displayed here. This makes it easy for your members to find all events your club is involved in.

Settings

This page is only available if you are an administrator.

Approval process

You ahve multiple options when it comes to approving new members.

Instant

Memberships are automatically accepted once payment (when applicable) is completed.

Review

Memberships require a club administrator to review and accept the membership request. If accepted, the member will be prompted to pay, when applicable.

Closed

Not currently accepting new members.

Tiers

You can create multiple membership tiers. This is useful if you have different types of memberships, for example a junior membership and an adult membership. Each tier can have a different price or be free.

Fiscal year

If your club has specific fiscal year you can set that here. This will be used to calculate the membership expiration dates. If you set May as your fiscal year start, memberships will expire on April 30th of the following year.

Associations

If your country has an association you can apply for membership here, once the association has approved you will eb lited on their page and the association will be listed on your club page.

TjingPay

If you want to collect membership fees you can connect your club to TjingPay. This will allow your members to pay for their membership directly through the club page.

Administrators

You can add administrators to your club. These administrators will have access to the club page and can manage the club. A club owner can never be removed.

Privacy

You can set the members page to be public or for members only. You can also choose to unpublish the club if you want to fine tune details before being viewed by the public.

Delete club

As an Owner you can delete the club. This will remove the club from Tjing and all data associated with the club will be removed. This action is not reversible.
