Divisions

You can add all existing PDGA divisions or create your own custom divisions.

Custom Division

Name

Add a display name for the custom division. This will be presented to your players throughout your events.

Code

You need to add a 3-4 character division code, similar to how PDGA has codes like FA1 or MA2. You need to have a unique code for each division.

Registration Fees

Specify the registration fee for your division. Leave this empty if your division is free to play.

Club Membership Registration Fee

If you want to provide a discounted price for club members, you can specify their fee here. Members of any club you have connected as an organization will be eligible for this fee.

TjingPay

In order to collect registration fees, you need to have enabled TjingPay.

Automatic Refunds

Specify the percentage amount automatically returned if a player cancels their spot. This is only applicable if you have Automatic Refunds enabled.

Availability Settings

To help manage waiting lists and limit the player field fairly, Tjing provides the following options for each division.

Max Spots

This is the maximum field size. You cannot "Confirm" more players than this for this division.

Max Registrations

This is ideal if you want to keep a specific number of players on the waiting list. Ideally, this is set slightly higher than the Max Spots if you are likely to have a high-profile event. This helps ensure you can backfill from the waiting list in case of cancellations but keep the waiting list short and manageable.

Reserved Spots

This is purely visual to help communicate if you reserve spots in a division.

Player Eligibility Restrictions

Custom Divisions

These are not applicable to custom divisions.

Age

Only applicable on divisions with an inherent age restriction. When enabled, players registering to this division are required to confirm their age and will not be allowed to register if not within the right age span.

Gender

Similarly to the Age restriction, you can enforce the gender restrictions for specific divisions.

Tax Rate

If you need to collect tax on registrations for any reason, you can set up a custom tax rate that will be applied to any registrations and be provided to you in your Stripe reports to make accounting a breeze.

Tax Rate Name

This is only for your future reference. You don't need to include the % in the name; we are kind enough to show that in all areas.

Percent

Set the % tax you need.

Include in Fee

When excluded, it will be added as a separate post in the checkout and added on top of the registration fee.
