Playoffs

Quick steps

  1. Add a new playoff round
  2. Set tee times
  3. Create a custom course
  4. Create groups and assign players
  5. Keep round open if multiple divisions have playoffs

How to set up a playoff

  1. Add a new playoff round

    • In your event, create a new round specifically for the playoff.
  2. Set tee times

    • Use Tee-times as the starting format.
  3. Create a custom course

    • Base it on the loop the players will be playing.
    • If the playoff covers only a few holes on a loop, give those holes clear names (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3) so it’s obvious which are being played.
    • Make sure to add enough holes from the start—you can’t add holes to a layout once the round has begun (without creating yet another round).
  4. Create groups and assign players

    • Create empty groups and move the relevant players into them.
    • Start the round and the group once players are ready.
  5. Handle multiple divisions (if needed)

    • Keep the round open if there are playoffs in more than one division.
    • Add players from other divisions into their own groups and start them individually.

Leaderboards

Since the playoff is treated as another round, players are automatically sorted correctly on the event leaderboards. Their total scores will include the playoff results without any extra setup.

Please note

Playoffs can only be used to decide the winner of a division (e.g., if players are tied for 1st place). If you only want to break a tie for other positions (2nd, 3rd, etc.), use the Manager to add a tie-break instead.
